Just wanted to send a reminder that tomorrow August 9th is picture day.
Please make note of the following information. Please arrive by 6:45 am. Practice will follow pictures.

V/JV will wear the black top, white shorts, white socks.
C team will be wearing white top, white shorts, white socks.
Order forms will be handed out at tonight’s meeting or you can pre-order at http://pecsports.info/

Also each year individuals sign up to work the concession stands. In the past it has been done via a link that allows you to sign up and volunteer your time to work the concession stand during your sport. Example…
C team or Varsity parents sign up to work the JV soccer games and then C team or JV parents sign up to work during the Varsity soccer games. This is a type of fundraiser for our sport which helps the soccer program through out the season. They have changed things up a bit regarding the concession stands this season by opening up all concession stand spots to all sports. (where as in the past football worked football, soccer worked soccer, tennis worked tennis, baseball worked baseball, etc.) Now it will be a first come first signed up type system done through a program. It is important that tomorrow when the link goes live that we sign up and fill our soccer spots before others can.

Each assignment is about 2 hours in length and it will return $36 to your sport. The freshman football parents have covered the first home football game. Parent/volunteers can sign up for any sport or slot they wish to work. When signing up they will be prompted to select the sport in which they are wanting the $36 to go to. Additional information needed for signups will include name, phone number, and email address.
Logistics:
Football concessions requires 8 people on the home side and 3 on the visitors side. At the 2 minute warning the second half volunteers need to report to the concession area. They will need to work with the first half volunteers until half time is just about over. This is critical because it will allow for more efficient service and hopefully more overall sales. Halftime is the busiest time of the games.
At the conclusion of an event, two volunteers will count the cash drawer with the contracted concession manager. Their signature will be required on that cash drawer sheet. All volunteers will also sign the check-in sheet as well. Both will be turned in to me at the conclusion of the event. I will use the sheets to determine the payout for each sport or club. That payout will be at the conclusion of Fall, Winter, and Spring. If a volunteer cancels his shift, he or she must find their replacement that same day.

I hope this makes sense, it is important that once the sign up goes live that our parent volunteers sign up quickly for the spot they wish to work or the preffered time slot may be taken.

Also just a reminder that if you have not joined the Booster Club you will be able to do so tonight.
The first $25 of the memership goes directly to the main Lees Summit West Booster account any amount over that $25 will go to the sport you specify. If you are able please be sure to join the silver level or higher so that our soccer program is able to benefit from your membership. The funds that are directed to the Soccer program are used to cover various expenses through out the season, such as transportation, the players end of season banquet dinner and cake, the senior gifts, and much more for the Soccer program. Please help make this a great season with your contribution.

If you still need to purchase socks those should be available tonight as well.

Reminder…

Tonight is our MANDATORY Soccer Info & MSHSAA Meetings. The Soccer Info meeting is at 6:00 pm in the Lecture Hall. The MSHSAA Meeting is at 7:00 pm in the PAC. Commitment forms will be signed at the end of the MSHSAA Meeting. A player and parent/guardian need to attend both meetings.
