LSW has adopted a 5 year old boy from the Make a wish foundation We are trying to raise $5000 for him to go to Disney World. LSW boys soccer is donating $100 from our booster funds but if you would like to donate anything extra make a check out to the Make a Wish Foundationand leave in the athletics office. He was at the parade yesterday and Barb Dye got picture of him with a few of our players that I will try and post.
Also, if you are headed to the football game tonight they are collecting socks for the homeless.

Charlene Austell will have a table set up at the JV and V home games Wednesday September 16 with extra apparel items available. There are limited extras of everything but the white Woman’s t-shirt.
$5 LSW Scarves as well.

Thank you to Kevin and Kim Emmendorfer for letting the soccer team use their trailer and truck for the Homecoming parade. Seniors will ride in the bed of the truck driven by Coach Davis and Coach Brizendine, the rest of V and JV will ride on the trailer. C team will follow in a firetruck driven by Kevin Ryan.

Vehicles will be parked in the Baptist Church parking lot.
All players are to wear their blue jersey’s
Players may bring soft candies to be tossed during the parade. (please do not throw)
Please help with clean-up after the parade.
Spectator and student parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage at 2nd and Green. Please do not park in the Methodist Church parking lot
Let’s make sure we get Boys soccer represented at this years Homecoming parade! The theme is Take the Barn:Titan Country The football game is Friday night against LSN.
JV and Varsity soccer boys will be playing North the night before (16th) at West. North always brings a big crowd to the soccer game so please come and show support for West that night.
Thank you to Kevin and Tanya Ryan for volunteering their firetruck for C team to ride on during the parade. We have a Jeep that the 7 seniors can ride on but a bed of a truck may be better if anyone has one available.
We are still in need of a trailer and truck to pull the rest of Varsity and JV. If anyone has access to either of these please let me know. I need to have all vehicles/trailers registered by September 11.
The parade is on September 17 in downtown Lee’s Summit and starts at 3:30pm sharp. Floats and vehicles need to arrive between 1&3. They will line up as they arrive at the Baptist church on main entering through Maple street.
