SCARVES!!!!
Unfortunately the scarves came in much later than I originally expected and we were unable to sell them at Clash of the Titans. The GOOD news is the weather is turning cooler! The weather forecast for Tuesday’s big game against Lee’s Summit North is 71 degrees for the high. We will be selling scarves at the concession stand for $20 a piece. Please encourage all your friends to buy one.
CONCESSION HELP
We need 3 volunteers for Thursday, October 11th’s Varsity game (6:30 pm) against Liberty.
I’mmmmm Back!!!!
I guess most know that tonight’s JV and Varsity Game has been switched. Varsity plays at 5 pm and JV at 6:30. I have Barb and Brad Smith signed up for concessions for first game and Gayle Hopkins and Kathy Cross for second game.
If you are unavailable to volunteer at your scheduled event, please try to find someone to replace you.
Homecoming: Dona and I picked up the hay bails. Kevin Emmendorfer will be driving Will’s truck and trailer with all the Freshman, sophomores and juniors. Steve Reynolds will be driving the seniors and team managers. The plan is to be in the line up at 1:30 pm and decorate the trailer and trucks. ALL Parents are more than welcome to help!
Please send your boys with a towel to sit on and a couple bags of candy. I believe the boys plan to wear their jerseys and khaki shorts. The goal is to get through the parade in record time and get back to West for the games. BTW: Parade starts at 3:30.
