CONCESSION STAND:
We have 2 tournament games at West and 9 home games this soccer season. I am asking each family (from all teams) to sign up for at least one game. Students can earn volunteer hours. No one under 16 can handle money.
PLEASE sign up on the volunteerspot.com site. (Link is provided in prior announcement.) This is the hardest part of my job. I will arbitrarily fill in names after August 23rd and it will be your responsibility to find a replacement.
VIDEOING GAMES:
The Varsity and JV coaching staff has purchased a new video camera and is seeking parent volunteers to tape games. They plan to use the footage to help the boys improve their skills.
PICTURES:
Calling all photobugs! Please forward me your soccer pictures. I will be using them for the slide show at the end of the soccer season.
I will be turning in the silk screened apparel orders this Friday. It will take approximately 7-10 business days for delivery. PLEASE contact me via email or phone to let me know if you want to add to this order so we can coordinate the transaction.
POLOS: I ordered additional sample sizes for the Polos. My son, Quentin, tried on all 4 sizes. We were honestly contemplating between the small and medium. He is getting a medium. It is a bit longer and looser in the chest. The small matches up pretty close to his medium sized cotton polos. I will wait until next week (Wednesday?) to place the order for the polos so everyone who wants to try on the shirts will an opportunity to do so.

8/21 – ALL of the money (aside from money turned in at checkpoints )and forms are due at practice.
8/31 – Cookie dough will be delivered at 3:00 pm. The location for the pick-up will be determined and announced at a later date.
I have attached the game times for the Blue Springs Varsity Tournament and Raytown JV Tournament in the document folder.
I have created an additional team site for the C Team since their games are at different times and locations. The site is www.lswsoccercteam.teampages.com. Please log into this site with your contact information. You can download the calendar to your personal computer as well.
I am looking for c team parent to help coordinate this site and get information out to the team. Please contact me if you are interested.
I will use the main site, lswsoccer, to send out general information to all teams: Homecoming Float, Concession Stand, Banquet, etc.
