C team: Parents might want to make sure their son packs a light snack to eat before their first game on Tuesday. I have created a separate teampage website for the C team to help coordinate pre-game snacks and other various team activities and communications. Hope to have everyone on board by next week.

Photo Rosters: Photo rosters are in the document section for all three teams. Please fill free to print off a copy and take to the game to familiarize yourself with the team members.

Homecoming Float: The homecoming parade is Friday, September 28th. (Game is against Park Hill South) The soccer teams (and parents) traditionally builds the float the Saturday before the game. The Coates family will provide the trailer (same as last year). My husband and I will be out of town the weekend before homecoming and will need someone else to host the building of the float. I will send Volunteerspot.com email/link to coordinate a parent brainstorming meeting.

Apparel: The apparel should be ready sometime this week. I will send an announcement as soon as I know the status.

Mark your calendar: Cookie dough will be distributed on Friday, August 31st at 3 pm. The coaches will let the boys know the exact location.

The following players do not have a parent registered up on this parent teampages website (lsw boys soccer) and have not been receiving email updates:

Kathleen Fearon requested that I make sure that everyone is aware that ALL boys soccer team members and families are invited to the Tailgate. She needs to know how many from each family will be attending. Please indicate the number in your family that will be joining us by entering the information the the “To Do” on the volunteerspot site. Silk screened apparel orders were submitted on Friday and should take 7-10 business days. I will place a re-order if needed. Waiting with crossed fingers that the scarves will be in this week.

The Fearon family has offered to host a tailgate party for the soccer team and their families, Saturday, August 25th from 11 am – 1 pm – just before the West/Staley football game. They have a large brown and burgundy RV that will be parked just outside the stadium. We had a great turn-out last year! The only problem was almost everyone brought dessert. I have created sign-up list on Volunteerspot.com (http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/19638415094) so we can make sure we are not duplicating side dishes. I will add additional items to each category as the they fill up.
